Johann Sebastian Bach

The Mass in B minor BWV 232 is Johann Sebastian Bach’s last major vocal composition and also his only complete catholic mass. The Quoniam tu solus sanctus is written for bass solo with horn obbligato, accompanied by two bassoons and basso continuo. In the present arrangement of this aria for horn and piano or organ, the solo bass part is worked into the piano part and marked accordingly.
