i maghi is Italian for the wizards.

The wind quintet was founded in 2011 and already played a world premiere at the first concert. It was probably the first time that all 24 preludes by Chopin were performed by a wind quintet.

The magicians are characterized by a very beautiful, homogenous sound and are always open to new ideas and works for wind quintet.

The five sound wizards are:
