Edward Elgar

Edward Elgar komponierte den Marsch 1907 und widmete ihn dem Organisten Dr. George Robertson Sinclair. Die wunderschöne Melodie des Trios verwendete Elgar zwei Jahre später ebenfalls in seinem Lied "The King's Way". Der Marsch diente 1981 als Auszugsspiel bei der Hochzeit von Prince Charles und Lady Diana.

Bearbeitet für das Jahreskonzert der Feldmusik Küssnacht am 21./22. November 2015.
