Jeweils am zweiten Sonntag im September findet im Innerthal die Sennenchilbi statt, der unter anderem von der Feldmusik Vorderthal musikalisch umrahmt wird. Organisiert wird dieser sehr alte und urtümliche Anlass von der 1598 gegründeten Sennenbruderschaft.

Lieber Herr Scheiwiller

Ihr Bericht ist sehr schön. Die Sennenchilbi in Innerthal ist ein farbenfroher, gediegener Anlass. Auch dieses Jahr mache ich eine Woche Ferien im Innerthal um, nebst dem Wandern in diesem schönen Tal auch die Sennenchilbi erleben zu können. Ich bim im Vorderthal aufgewachsen, lebe jetzt aber seit 53 Jahren in Bern.
